Anthony (Tony) Ford has been working in Education 40 years:

In 2005 Tony received a Westfield Science scholarship to study in USA and spent time in Boston at Tufts University and Pittsburgh at the Carnegie Mellon Robotics Institute to learn more about Science, Engineering and Robotics. Since then he has promoted STEM based learning in primary and secondary schools. He has presented workshops across Queensland in Robotics, Data Logging, Integrating Science and Engineering, Project based Science, 7E Model in Science, Differentiating in Science, Assessment in Science, Misconceptions in Science, Science Literacies, Higher order Thinking in Science and many other topics.

He now runs a business “Tony Ford Science Education Consultancy” to support teachers in primary, middle and high schools through written materials and visits to schools.

Tony is available for professional consultation, classroom demonstrations and workshops.

Tony still teaches in local Brisbane High Schools and presents in Professional Education Conferences.
